I was interviewed by the powerhouse businessman, Kevin Harrington. He wanted to know how I was getting profit-driven results from non-expert hiring teams (note: these are not the recruiters, these are the hiring decision-makers), by doing something that the majority of the market has yet to grasp, that is, until they lose profit, have turnover, their culture deteriorates or worse, their companies fail.
It’s a sabotaging blindspot for the majority of the world.

I had more managers than not tell me I had to walk a straight line or gave me no direction at all, focus on numbers rather than humans; and if I didn’t hit them, I was out. I never wavered even with the ones that yelled, screamed and belittled me. Most telling me not to push the boundaries. I always hit my numbers, but NEVER at the expense of another human.
So I knew…there was another way.
Then there were my hiring teams — the engineers, product, program, IT, project, marketing, sales, and all the other non-hiring experts who put their trust in me to guide them as their trusted recruiting partner.
