Alana Fulvio
Alana is a rare talent and unconventional leader who isn't afriad to talk about it. With a highly unique background as a 20 year Silicon Valley veteran scaling some of the worlds best cultures and a 13x world record holding athlete, Alana knows how to lead teams to victory. With her background in Sociology, love for all things People, heart of a social worker, brain of an engineer and deep work in neuroscience and behavioral science, she is a powerhouse. Her innate ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies allows Alana to diagnose root causes and create ground up and turnaround solutions that deliver real results, fast, withiout stepping on or over anyone.
Alana's expertise lies in connecting authentically with humans and identifying a company's strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities and partnering with leadership to achieve goals, together. Companies hire her for their people-first approach and modernized solutions to Coach, Consultant and Train teams of people, increasing their success, and minimizing revenue loss, time, and spend.

Founding Pendulum
After spending 12 years in the Silicon Valley scaling some of the world's most innovative early-late stage Startups, Alana knew she had to focus on the root cause of the challenges she was asked to solve. Despite being asked by seven different companies to put bandaids on "underperormaning hiring numbers" and "fix retention issues", Alana understood that there was a bigger vision to focus on.
But the Silicon Valley, and the world, weren't ready to put People-and-Culture First which left her at a crossroads. But in August of 2014, Alana quit her high paying job and turned the key on a "no plan" road trip around the United States to uncondition herself from the norm, clear her mind, alllow herself to be free mo explore what felt right to her. One day, in San Diego, she had a clear vision - to dedicate her career to helping early-late stage Startups succeed by empowering their non-HR experts to be great at what every company required them to do - Attract, hire, and retain the best talent, repeatedly - or as Alana says it "Execute the #1 most important business strategy without being a trained expert."
With this vision, Alana founded Pendulum in 2015 in Denver, CO. She identified core areas of focus and built unconventional people strategies, programs, trainings, and processes backed by proven systemization, data, behavioral, and human-centric methods.
Pendulum's proprietary "Hiring-System-in-a-Box", named Foundation, sits under Alana's umbrella of offerings in "The Higher Consciousness System" of comprehensive methods, programs and trainings, offering simplified solutions that are easily integratable into any vertical, at any stage. THE GOAL is to give hiring teams the capabilities and tools to attract, hire, and retain the best talent they need in the shortest time possible, with the highest ROI and retention rate and create thriving cultures of high perrforming happy teams of people that love where they work, who they work for and are champsions of the business.
